This page is a page for me to review the books regarding football hooliganism and the culture surrounding it. The books I tend to read our more likely to be written by an ex-hooligan rather than some poncy theorist spreading lies and propaganda.
SHORT REVIEW: SOUL CREW by Dave Jones and Tony Rivers is very well written look into Soul Crew present and past. The authors have written it in such a way that had me hooked all the way through, It was written with a great deal of humor and a patch of humility. The book goes into detail about the different firms in england and other firms abroad. Everyone I know who has read this book has not been dissapointed.

Click to buy Soul CrewSHORT REVIEW: Firstly the humor in this book is second to none, this is the funniest football hooligan book I have read to date, and is also a very good book. This book is unbiased which is a first and Danny Brown makes sure he doesn’t do the usual we went down to Milwall with 3 lads and ran 300 of them around town. The stories from within the book are portrayed well and are very honest and you'll find yourself engrossed in the situations they get themselves into. The is set out in sub-chapters with a different lad telling his own story this is a good layout for the book as this allows allot of variation between stories. This is an excellent book.

Click to buy VillainsSHORT REVIEW: The book follows the author Mark Chester and his firm the Naughty Forty around the world and tells his stories of selling pills with the 657 crew all the way through to jumping mopeds into swimming pools. The book is wrote in a way that has your immersed into the culture from the beginning and holds this to the end, some of the stories are amazing to the point where I could quite happily read this book again. This is a must read and is hilarious from beginning to end. Mark Chester is the master of the Hooligan Book Genre.
